Michael Vaughan Credits Team India For Fightback In T20I Series vs England

Former England skipper has kept his Twitter game on as he has hailed for Team India for their fightback in the T20I decider against England. The series was levelled at 2-2 before the start of the decider Both teams had an equal chance to win the game with the presence of matchwinners in the side. India posted 224/2 batting first and almost batted England out of the match. 

Taking to Twitter, Michael Vaughan has hailed the Virat Kohli-led team for pulling back the series after losing the third game. He further said that the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja made things pretty difficult but Virat Kohli managed his troops very well. 

India have adapted brilliantly in this series … the better team have won … Add @Jaspritbumrah93 & @imjadeja to this team in Indian conditions & they are favourites to win the T20 World Cup … Great series to watch .. #INDvsENG. 

Michael Vaughan Hails Team India’s Fightback

Vaughan followed the series very closely and was not afraid to post about his opinions on Twitter. From criticising the Motera pitch in the third Test to his light banters with Virat Kohli, Vaughan has done it all. 

He also fuelled the captaincy debate between Rohit and Kohli hinting that the Hitman is his choice as India’s T20I skipper. He has been in the radar of the Indian cricket fans for his comments on Twitter but nothing has hindered him from going on and speaking his opinion. 

Meanwhile, India won the decider by 36 runs as England reached 188/8 in their 20 overs. India took the last six wickets for 58 runs as England went down from 130/2 to their end score. It was India’s ninth straight T20I series win.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a spell of 2 for 15 and Shardul Thakur picked up three quick wickets in the end to swing the match India’s way. He also ended the series as the highest wicket-taker with eight wickets.
