Meanwhile, Starc in the ODI series and first T20I against India looked dreadfully out of bowling rhythm. The speedster looked a pale shadow of himself and wasn’t able to create an impact against India in white-ball cricket. In Starc’s absence experienced T20 bowler Andrew Tye or Daniel Sams is expected to feature in the second T20I against India at Sydney.
The loss of Starc is a tremendous blow for Australia as they are already without David Warner and Pat Cummins in the T20 series. Also, there is an injury concern regarding captain Aaron Finch who picked an injury during the first T20I at Canberra. The second T20I of the series between Australia and India will begin today at 1:40 live from SCG.
