The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on July 25 (Sunday) announced the schedule of the second half of IPL 2021. The defending champions Mumbai Indians will kickstart their UAE stint against Chennai Super Kings on September 19 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
Mumbai are currently placed at the fourth spot with eight points to their name from seven matches before the tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Rohit Sharma & Co had a slow start to their campaign but picked up nicely to make a swift comeback.

It will be an exciting clash first up for Mumbai Indians against their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings. The five-time IPL champions have defeated MS Dhoni & Co in the first encounter of IPL 2021 and it will be interesting to see if they can continue their dominance over the Super Kings.
Mumbai, who won the last title in the UAE last year will be keen to emulate their feat once again ahead of the T20 World Cup.
