S Sreesanth played his last international match for India in the 2011 World Cup final. He was a part of the Indian squad that won two ICC titles, one in 2007 and another in 2011. Since then he played a couple of IPL seasons but was banned from the game after his connections in match-fixing in the 2013 season of the IPL. The Kerala pacer since then is making hard yards to make a comeback into the Indian team but has not found a way out as yet.
On Thursday, he posted an inspiring message on his official Instagram handle, reminding his fans that the fire inside him for an India comeback is still burning within him.

“My name is Fading away on t shirts print .but not in mind and body esp my soul …wants me to keep going ..need all ur blessings and wishes ..as always ..miles to go before I hang my boots..I’m never gonna give up..❤️” said Sreesanth’s message on Instagram. He shared a picture of a T-shirt with his name starting to fade on it.
Sreesanth walked up to the BCCI requesting the board to lessen his punishment. he was also thankful to the Indian board when he was permitted to play in the domestic T20 leagues in India. He played a domestic T20 league in Kerala as he came back to competitive cricket. he has been regularly sharing his workout and motivational videos on his social media handles.
The current Indian team has several good bowlers as part of its pace attack. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav form the core of pace bowlers in the Test format. In the white-ball format along with Shami and Bumrah Bhuvneshwar Kumar forms a formidable trio.
Names likes Deepak Chahar, T Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj and Navdeep Saini provies India with enough options at the moment placing making them a competitive outfit wherever they play around the world.
