Here’s the Full schedule of New Zealand Cricket For 2019-20
Two tests will be played as a part of the tour. It is to be noted that this will be a part of the ICC test championship which has been announced a few months ago. Teams will be playing six test series (3 at home, 3 at away venues) and the top four teams will be advancing to the semifinals once all the fixtures finish.
The first test will be played on August 14th at Galle while the second one commences on 22nd at Colombo. The three-match T20I series will be played right after the test series across two venues namely, Colombo and Kandy.
The Sri Lankan side has been very strong at home in tests and they also won an away series at South Africa a few months ago (2-0). This could have certainly raised the enthusiasm levels of the players and fans to give their best in the upcoming series. It will be interesting what strategies will the team follow to come out on the top.
