Pakistan (PAK) are all set to host West Indies (WI) for three ODIs, which start on June 8 (Wednesday). The series was part of the West Indies’ white-ball tour in December last year, however, ODIs were postponed after three T20I matches.
The Men in Green are coming from the back of a superlative 2-1 victory against Australia and will hope to continue the winning momentum. They have some quality players in their ranks led by prolific run-scorer Babar Azam.
West Indies, on the other hand, have landed in Pakistan after a comprehensive series win over the Netherlands. The team from the Caribbean Islands will hope to keep the momentum going and continue the winning streak.
The likes of Shai Hope and Kyle Mayers had a fabulous outing with the bat in the series while the bowlers too led by the likes of Alzarri Joseph and Akeal Hosein performed outstandingly well.
With both teams boasting some quality players in the ranks, a thrilling series is on the cards.
