Rajasthan Royals Beat RCB In IPL Eliminator; All Set To Face Sunrisers Hyderabad In The Qualifier 2

Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL Eliminator, advancing to face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next qualifying match. RCB started their innings strongly with Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis at the crease. They scored 34 runs in the first four overs, with Kohli hitting a six and a single, and Du Plessis hitting a four and a single.

RCB reached 37 runs with one wicket down in five overs after Du Plessis was caught by Rovman Powell off Trent Boult’s bowling. Cameron Green joined Kohli but was dismissed by Ashwin after scoring 27 runs. Glenn Maxwell was out on the first ball, leaving RCB struggling. Dinesh Karthik and Mahipal Lomror tried to steady the innings, with Lomror hitting a few boundaries. However, RCB’s final score was 172/8 in 20 overs.

RR started their chase with Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal scored quickly, hitting several boundaries, but was dismissed by Cameron Green after scoring 45 runs. Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag then took charge, with Samson hitting a six and several singles. Despite a run-out of Dhruv Jurel by Virat Kohli, RR managed to chase down the target, winning by four wickets.

Fans had mixed reactions to the match. RCB supporters were disappointed as the team failed to secure a trophy yet again despite a promising start. Many criticized the dropped catches and inconsistent batting performance. On the other hand, RR fans were thrilled with the win, praising the team’s resilience despite coming off a string of losses.
