Rajasthan Royals (RR) shared a special throwback video on their social media to welcome Riyan Parag as he joined the camp for IPL 2025. The 18th edition of the prestigious tournament kicks off on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

RR’s 2024 campaign ended with a loss to SunRisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2. However, Riyan Parag had a breakthrough season, amassing 573 runs in 16 matches at an average of 52.09, including four half-centuries, with a top score of 84*.
His stellar performance led RR to retain him for ₹14 crore ahead of the 2025 mega auction. As the 23-year-old geared up for his seventh straight season with RR, the franchise welcomed him with a special throwback video. They captioned the post:
