On the fifth and final day, Delhi chased down the target of 217 runs with the loss of only 3 wickets. The experienced Gambhir made 95 while K Chandela scored 57. DR Shorey remained not out on 46. With this win, Delhi progressed to the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy 2017/18
Vidarbhhasve registered an outright win over Kerala. Declaring the innings on 507 for 9, Vidarbha bowled out Kerala for just 165. Sarwate picked 6 wickets for 41.

On the fifth and final day, Gambhir 95, Chandela 57 and DR Shorey helped Delhi to chase down the target with ease. Delhi won the match by 7 wickets, progressing into the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy 2017/18 season.

3rd quarterfinals Kerala vs. Vidarbha ( Surat)
Vidarbha is also one step away from the semi-finals. Starting the day on 77 for 1, Faiz Faizal and Wankhade scored centuries which have put them in a commanding position. They ended day 4 on 431 for 6. For Kerala Jalaj Saxena took 3 wickets.
