The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has announced Sanjay Bangar as their new batting consultant. The former India cricketer who was known to have a solid batting technique will be working with RCB in IPL 2021. In the last few seasons, RCB has done some major changes in their management and the inclusion of Sanjay Bangar will certainly help the young Indian RCB batsmen.
Talking about his past coach record in the IPL in January 2014, Sanjay Bangar was named assistant coach of Kings XI Punjab. Bangar was promoted to the role of head coach during the season and coached them to final, the Franchise’s best IPL performance to date, where they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders.

Bangar also worked as a batting coach with the Indian cricket team until the 2019 ICC cricket world cup. The senior players including captain Virat Kohli all acknowledged Bangar’s work as a batting coach. Now, the RCB skipper will again be working with Bangar this time in the IPL in the upcoming season.
The RCB franchise announced on their official Twitter account and declared Sanjay Bangar as their new batting consultant.

Meanwhile, RCB has already begun their preparation for the upcoming IPL season. With the IPL mini-auction just around the corner coach, Mike Hesson has already arrived in India. The management of RCB will be aiming to make the side more balanced and stronger for the next IPL season that is likely to be played in India between April-May.
Furthermore, RCB were knocked out by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator in IPL 2020. The franchise led by Virat Kohli will be hoping the win their first-ever title in IPL 2021.
