Millions of fans around the world breathed a sigh of relief as Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to announce that he had been discharged from the hospital after he recovered from Covid-19.
The former Indian cricketer and batting icon had participated in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series. He led Indian Legends to the trophy beating Sri Lanka Legends in the final clash thanks to match-winning knocks from Yusuf Pathan and Yuvraj Singh. Soon after the conclusion of the tournament, he along with many other players including Subramaniam Badrinath, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan had tested positive on March 27.
On April 2nd while the whole of India was reminiscing the World Cup 2011 victory, it was announced that Sachin Tendulkar had been hospitalized as a precautionary measure. He was admitted to the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaon.

Sachin Tendulkar released from the hospital
Everyone was extremely concerned and many former cricketers including former Pakistan captain Imran Khan and loads of fans wished and hoped that he would recover soon. Howver, a close aide of Tendulkar revealed that there was nothing serious and it was just a precautionary measure.
After a couple of days in the hospital, Sachin Tendulkar on April 8 (Thursday) announced on Twitter that he had come home from the hospital and will remain self-isolated. He also thanked everyone for the good wishes and said that he was grateful to all the medical staff who took care of him and helped him throughout these difficult circumstances.

All his fans and well-wishers are extremely thrilled at the announcement of him being discharged from the hospital. Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar was due to join the Mumbai Indians squad for the upcoming edition of IPL which starts on April 9 (Friday). The defending champions will lock horns with the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Mumbai in the curtain-raiser. After the disease, it is still unknown whether Tendulkar will be a part of Mumbai in the latter half of the tournament.
