Sara Tendulkar Elated After Sachin Tendulkar-Led India Legends Win Road Safety World Series

Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends defeated Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur to win the Road Safety World Series 2020-21. Seemingly, everyone was happy with the win including the daughter of Sachin – Sara Tendulkar, who celebrated the victory by sharing a video on social media.

Meanwhile, India got off to a bad start after losing Virender Sehwag and Subramaniam Badrinath in the powerplay. Sachin Tendulkar got out for 30 from 23 balls in the 11th over with things going away from India Legends. At this point, Yusuf Pathan and Yuvraj Singh got together for a partnership to bail their side out of danger. The duo produced a partnership of 85 runs from 47 balls.

Singh ended with 60 runs off 41 balls while Yusuf scored 62 runs off 36 balls helping India’s total to 181 for 4 in 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka got a positive start with Tillakaratne Dilshan and Sanath Jayasuriya. But regular strikes jolted their hopes of winning the title. Irfan Pathan and his brother Yusuf were the picks of the bowlers with two scalps each.
