Even the current India skipper, now captaining Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Virat Kohli heaped praises on Ravindra Jadeja. He said that he had always kept faith in Jadeja. Kohli-led RCB lost their first match of the season. Kohli and co were unbeaten until they faced off Dhoni’s ‘men in yellow’ on Sunday. Jadeja’s all-rounder performance crumbled the Challengers.
“Ravindra Jadeja is someone I have believed a lot,” said Virat Kohli “He is someone I have believed in a lot in the past. His ability has been there for everyone to see. He has been out of the team (India) after that injury in Australia. I am very happy to see him perform with the bat, with the ball, and on the field. You want your premier all-rounder to do well and be in a good space.
I hope he keeps doing this more often because when he is confident and he is doing well, it opens up a lot of opportunities not just for Chennai but Indian cricket also,” Kohli told in the post-match press conference.
CSK will take on SunRisers Hyderabad at Feroz Shah Kotla on April 28.
