“Sarfaraz, We Are Sorry” Trending After Pakistan Win

Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed was going through a bad phase in his career. It almost seemed nothing is going right for the man, no results, therefore the skipper was quite humiliated in the media and among the fans. Fans started criticising him not just for his performance but also for his physical appearance.

Smallest of things Sarfaraz did turn into a topic of debate. Several posts in the social media surfaced where trolls and memes regarding his yawning on the ground became prominent.
One of the worst happenings would be the verbal abuse by a fan when he asked Sarfaraz why does he look like a pig.

Amidst such a bad time Sarfaraz kept his cool and walked away as he was roaming with his son in the mall. Several people got offended by the video and started speaking in support of Sarfaraz. Players don”t deserve such a kind of public treatment.

Not just public, a lot of former cricketers also pointed out the wrong-doing for which the fan released another video issuing an apology.

During the game against South Africa, a fan was seen holding a banner which read “Sarfaraz, we are sorry”. This gesture was viewed with the highest respect as a lot of cricket enthusiasts came in support of a player who was having a bad time off the field.

A couple of days back, Sarfaraz said that social media has now become a place where people roast players for their performances and other issues rather than reporting just the happenings.
Pakistan won the game against Proteas yesterday and they are still in contention for the top four positions. They will play their next game against table toppers NewZealand on Wednesday.
