[WATCH]- Shakib Al Hasan Becomes Angry And Attempts To Physically Confront A Fan For Trying To Take A Selfie

Bangladesh’s experienced all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, became frustrated with a passionate fan attempting to take a selfie with him along the boundary line.

Shakib, who is not included in the Bangladesh squad currently competing in a five-match home series against Zimbabwe, is instead participating in the Dhaka Premier League for the Sheikh Jamal club. He is showcasing his skills in the 50-over format during the T20 season.

In the widely circulated video online, Shakib was observed engaged in conversation with a few individuals just beyond the boundary line. Amidst the discussion, another individual, likely a fan or a groundsman, entered the background with his phone, asking for a selfie with the all-rounder.

Shakib Al Hasan noticed the person requesting a selfie and promptly declined. However, the fan persisted, leading to Shakib losing his patience.

He quickly motioned for the person to leave and attempted to grab his phone. When this failed, he seized the individual by the neck and issued threats of slapping and beating him up. Disheartened, the fan retreated to the stands with his phone still in hand.

The all-rounder suffered a duck in Sheikh Jamal club’s recent 199-run loss to Prime Bank in the Dhaka Premier League. Prior to that, he had scored a century in the close defeat against Gazi Group.
