In the last few years, the two modern greats have always had a mutual admiration for one another’s game. Their rivalry is regarded as one of the best in world cricket as they are by far the two standout batsmen of their generation.
Moreover, Smith in his Q&A also praised India’s new wicket-keeper batsman in white-ball cricket KL Rahul. When a fan asked Smith to describe Rahul in one word, the Aussie wrote ‘Gun’.

He further also praised his Rajasthan Royals teammate Jos Buttler. Smith termed the Englishmen as a terrific player and sarcastically asked him to save all his runs for the IPL and not against his side in the 3 match ODI series starting tomorrow.
Furthermore, Smith will now be featuring in the ODI series against England after the host won the T20 series 2-1. All the ODIs will be played at Old Trafford in a bio-secure bubble in under a week.
After the conclusion of the Series, all Aussie and England players who are part of the IPL will depart for the UAE. The 13th edition of the IPL is all set to begin from September 19 to November 10 in the United Arab Emirates.
