Royal Challengers Bangalore got the mystical start to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Remaining unbeaten, RCB, have solved the riddles that they assayed over the past few years. Having Glenn Maxwell in the batting line-up who has flared with the bat, Harshal Patel has shown his wizardry with the ball, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have cemented innings and Devdutt Padikkal has joined the array.

The management did an excellent job in filling the gaps during the IPL 2021 auction. They brought in Glenn Maxwell and strengthened their pace battery adding Kane Richardson and Kyle Jamieson along with veteran all-rounder Dan Christian.

RCB should not limit themselves – Ashish Nehra

After their heroics against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede, former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra opined that the Challengers should not limit themselves. He said that RCB have the right start and they are moving in the right direction. Nehra also shared his experience with Delhi in 2009.

“Virat Kohli, as a skipper, never take things lightly. The way they have started their campaign and won four in four, they shouldn’t limit themselves. I remember when I was in Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and when we went to South Africa in 2009.

We experimented with a few things towards the end of the league phase as we had already won around 10 out of 12 games. So first, they should confirm their play-off qualification and try to finish in the top 2,” said Ashish Nehra while talking to Cricbuzz.

Despite having a star-studded lineup, Bangalore had missed the buzz. This time, all their pieces have been fitting well. Their Indian contingent producing match-winning cricket, their overseas starts are flowing with the fundamental pace.

Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel all their young talents are shouldering responsibility. Padikkal was on a different voyage yesterday. He had the temperament while standing with Virat Kohli on the pitch. The 20-year-old smashed his maiden T20 ton.

RCB are the only team being unconquered in the 14th edition. They won their opening thriller against Mumbai Indians. RCB will meet CSK on April 25 (Sunday) at the Wankhede Stadium.
