Team India led by the ever charismatic Virat Kohli is the most followed cricket team across the world. In India, it is the most followed sport and millions and millions of fans expect their superstars to live up to the expectations. And they have enough reasons to be excited about considering their tight schedule in the next two years.
After missing cricket for the most part of 2020 owing to the outbreak of the COVID-19, international cricket is back on its feet and so is India. They resumed their international assignments with a full-fledged tour to Australia consisting of 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is, and 4 Tests. While Australia won the ODI series, India came back strongly, winning the T20I series as well as the hyped-up Test series as well.
Currently, they are playing against England in the first Test at Chennai which will be followed by three most Tests, five T20Is, and three ODIs. Following this much-anticipated series, Indian cricketers will be involved in the 14th edition of the IPL in April and May. This will be followed by the World Test Championship (if India qualifies for the final) in June at the Lord’s Cricket Ground.
