Team India (Men’s) Schedule 2024: Full List Of Tests, ODIs And T20Is

Team India will kick off their 2024 with a Test match, the second and final of the series against South Africa in Newlands, Cape Town. They lost the first test of the series by an innings and 32 runs in Centurion. This will be followed by a home series against Afghanistan. India will be hosting them for a three-match ODI series, that kicks off on January 11. Mohali, Indore and Bengaluru will be hosting the three ODIs.

Team India will also host England at home from January to March for a marathon Test series. It stretches across more than six months, starting on January 25. Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala will host the series. The series holds great importance for both teams in the World Test Championship cycle.

The players will then join their respective Indian Premier League franchises. After the IPL, the focus will be on the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament kicks off on June 4, in the West Indies and the United States of America. India will then tour to Sri Lanka in July for three ODIs and as many T20Is. They will return home to host Bangladesh in September for two tests and three T20Is.-T20I series.

New Zealand will also be touring India in October for three Test matches. India will end the year in Australia, playing their final series of the World Test Championship cycle. They will play five Test matches on the tour. However, the schedule isn’t confirmed yet, so it cannot be said with certainty, how many of those test matches will take place in 2024.
