‘The God of Cricket’ has definitely set some benchmarks in the IPL before he retired. Captained the Mumbai Indians during 2008-2011 and won 30 games out of 51 matches with a winning percentage of 58.82 (third in the list).

This mighty wicket-keeper batsman from Australia is no less than the best leaders in cricketing globe. Grabs third spot in the list with 35 wins out of 74 matches with a winning percentage of 47.29. Captained two sides in his IPL career- Deccan Chargers (2008-2010) and Kings XI Punjab (2011-2014). Led his team to victory once in 2009 (Deccan Chargers).

This Delhi boy bags the second position in the list with 53 wins out of 93 matches in IPL. Led two sides in IPL- Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders. The Kolkata Knight Riders side have completely changed under his leadership. Won couple of seasons in the IPL – 2012 and 2014 for Kolkata Knight Riders.

I am pretty sure this man does not need any introduction. The best captain India have ever produced and one of the best in business in the world have achieved everything in his cricketing career. With 79 wins out of 130 matches at a winning percentage of 61.24, he tops the list. Captained all the eight seasons of IPL for one side- the mighty Chennai Super Kings till 2015 but is now playing for Rising Pune Supergiants in the 9th edition of the IPL. Won consecutive two seasons for CSK – 2010 and 2011.
