“Traditional Welcome: Team India Greeted In Dominica’s Style At Douglas-Charles Airport”

Team India has arrived in Dominica for their first match of the ICC World Test Championship series against the West Indies, which is scheduled to commence this Wednesday.

A video capturing the moment Virat Kohli and other members of the Indian squad were greeted in the traditional Dominican style has emerged online.

Following a break lasting a month, Team India is set to make their return to the international cricket stage for a World Test Championship series against the West Indies.

India recently experienced a defeat in the WTC Final 2023 against Australia, while the West Indies failed to qualify for the Cricket World Cup.

Both teams are determined to regain their winning form in the upcoming bilateral matches.

A video has been shared showcasing the Indian players being warmly welcomed at the Douglas-Charles Airport in Dominica.

The individual filming the video appeared to be an ardent fan of Virat Kohli, as their focus was primarily on him.

The other Indian players were also visible behind Kohli. As they made their way into the airport, traditional performers greeted them with their dance.

The question arises: Can Team India secure 100% points from the ICC World Test Championship series against the West Indies? India has qualified for the World Test Championship Finals twice and has finished within the top two positions on the points table in both editions of the prestigious event so far.

Rohit Sharma and his teammates are eager to continue their exceptional performances in the group stage of the World Test Championship.

On the other hand, the West Indies have never reached the World Test Championship Final. Led by Kraigg Brathwaite, the team aims to commence their new WTC cycle with a series victory on their home ground.

The last time West Indies hosted India for a WTC series was in 2019, which India won by a margin of 2-0.

The upcoming series is set to commence in Dominica on July 12. It will be intriguing to witness the performances of both teams in this exciting encounter.
