Indian cricketer Virat Kohli took a trip down the memory lane on Monday as he completed 11 years in Test match cricket for India. Kohli had made his debut against West Indies in 2011 at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

The former India skipper has over the years established himself as a modern-day great in world cricket. He has been a pillar of the Indian batting line-up in the test format. Kohli also had a very successful stint as India’s captain in red-ball cricket.

On Monday, the 34-year-old posted a video on his social media profile to celebrate his 11 Test debut anniversary. The clip features all his major milestones in Test cricket. He captioned it as, Time flies #20June #TestDebut”.

Virat Kohli has scored 8043 runs in 101 Test matches, at an average of 55.69 and at a strike rate of 49.95. His run tally includes 27 test hundreds and 28 fifties. The Indian batter has several records to his name in the red-ball format.

He is India’s most successful Test captain with 40 wins in 68 matches. Virat Kohli led India to a series win in Australia in 2018-19, which remains one of the key achievements in his 11-year-long Test career.
