Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli bagged another golden duck, this time against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Brabourne Stadium. Hyderabad bowlers wreaked havoc to bowl out RCB for 68 runs.

Asked to bat first, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost their captain Faf du Plessis in the second over. Marco Jansen defeated the Proteas legend with a swing that hit his bat and uprooted the stumps.

The South African continued the shed fire dismissing Virat Kohli of the very next delivery. Jansen pitched the ball around the off-stump and Virat Kohli pushed it through the mid-on region. The ball found a thick outside edge and went straight to Aiden Markram at second slip.

Meanwhile, fans were utterly disappointed see Kohli on a consistent basis. They prayed for their favourite batter to hit the strides and return to form in the next game.

Hyderabad bowl out Royal Challengers Bangalore for 68 runs

Marco Jansen followed it with another wicket to reduce the Royal Challengers 8/3. If anyone could lead an RCB resurrection from that stage, it had to be Glenn Maxwell. He fell cheaply to Natarajan soon after, to have his side in all sorts.

Shahbaz Ahmed and Suyash Prabhudessai had the best partnership of 27 in the middle, which helped their side another 49-type embarrassment. T Natarajan led the rest of the clean-up job alongside Jagadeesh Suchith and Umran Malik, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar got himself amongst the wickets in the end as well. It was a ruthless performance from the Sunrisers’ bowlers and a sorry-looking scorecard as the Royals were all out for 68 runs.

This is the sixth lowest total in the history of IPL. The Bangalore franchise also has the lowest score in history, when they scored 49 against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2017.
