The stage is all set for one of the most anticipated clashes of the tournaments, Australia versus England. The match will be played at the iconic Lord”s tomorrow and both the teams will be looking for a win which can provide a boost to their fortunes going forward. While all the focus has been on the game and what strategies will the teams devise, the net practice sessions deserve attention here.

The England side has been using the aid of Arjun Tendulkar, Son of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in the nets. Few videos have been released in the social media where he was bowling to the English batsman Joe Root. Arjun is already in the United Kingdom representing the junior MCC XI team. He has always been a visiting bowler to the English batsmen as he was reportedly troubled  Johny Bairstow and other batsmen in the nets a few years ago.

Arjun”s spell against Surrey second XI was the talking point on the social media last week. Several videos surfaced online where he was spotted dismissing opponents with his perfect line and length. 

The English side would be wanting to erase the scars encountered during the Srilanka game, where Malinga”s experience played a vital role in scripting a win. A win tomorrow will be a boost to England”s morale while Australia who is on the verge of semi-finals would want to rectify their mistakes in the past.  The hosts whitewashed the kangaroos during the last limited-overs leg(5-0). Who will triumph now?
