What”s interesting here is a comedic error that took place in the game. On an attempt to run out West Indies women, English fielders lost their attention in affecting a dismissal. During the 17th over, their prime bowler Kate Cross threw the ball to the keeper instead of dismissing the batsman closer to her crease. The result is both the batsmen were unaffected by the happening.

Though England managed to win the game by 42 runs, this video has been going viral on social media. Fans have been posting hilarious comments for this video as the lack of attention costed them a wicket. One of the users posted a video where legendary wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara was seen executing successfully a similar kind of mess up. Whatever few of the fans burst into laughter after these series of incidents on the field.

The hosts now lead the tournament by 1-0 margin and the decider will be played at Derby on Tuesday.
