Team India’s journey in the T20 World Cup might have started with a loss against Pakistan, but a little girl’s comment will certainly make the day for everyone. The cute little girl said that both Virat Kohli and Babar Azam won the game as they are actual brothers.
While the girl’s father has posted the video on Twitter, it went viral in no time. And everyone started praising her thoughts which is so perfect and honest as well.
My daughter tells me that @imVkohli & #BabarAzam are bothers and both of them won last night. #IndiaVsPak #Cricket is a game! So, Take it as a game! pic.twitter.com/lsl5KyqBTQ

Shaheen Afridi provided his team with a brilliant start by dismissing Rohit Sharma on a duck. He returned in his second over and removed KL Rahul as well. India posted 151 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Virat Kohli scored 57 whereas Rishabh Pant scored 39. Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed 3 for 31 whereas Hasan Ali picked up 2 as well.
While chasing, Pakistan successfully managed to reach the target without losing a wicket and 2.1 overs in hand. Babar Azam scored a 52-ball 68 whereas Mohammad Rizwan smashed a quickfire 79 off 55 with 6 fours and 3 sixes as well.
After the win, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said: “We executed our plans well and the early wickets were very helpful. Shaheen’s wickets gave us a lot of confidence and the spinners dominated as well. The plan with Rizwan is always to keep it simple. We tried to get deep in the crease and from about the 8th over the dew came in and the ball came on nicely.”
He continued:
“This is just the start, we have confidence to build on now. It will remain match by match for us. The pressure on us wasn’t that much – we weren’t thinking of the record against India at all. I only wanted to back all our players who’ve been preparing well. When you play tournaments before a big World Cup, it helps and our players came in with a lot of confidence because of that.”
