RCB skipper Virat Kohli failed to convert his good start into a meaningful score for his side in their second game of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He scored 33 off 29 deliveries just when he was about to launch in the second half of his innings. he thus added another poor innings against SRH against who he scored 58 runs in the last six innings.

Virat Kohli tried to hook a delivery from Jason Holder. The ball took the edge of the bat and went up high in the air. Coming in from the fine leg boundary, Vijay Shankar at long leg, sprints forward, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes a good catch diving forward. Was a skier and the fielder did well to pull it off.

After his dismissal, he hit the boundary cushions in disgust and disappointment. Virat Kohli never likes to get out after he is set and this was an example of the same.

AB De Villiers was then dismissed off the very next over by Rashid Khan. He was caught at covers by David Warner. De Villiers wanted to lift the ball over covers but found Warner on the way.

The pace of the game has increased in the second half of the RCB innings. With Glenn Maxwell still at the wicket, RCB can still post a competitive total. However, the SRH bowlers have done a good job to pull back Banglore who were scoring freely with the Kohli-Maxwell partnership.

Virat Kohli has not had a good start with the bat this season in the IPL. He scored coupe of 33’s in the first two games of the season and was dismissed just when he was starting to open up.
