Star Indian batter Virat Kohli received warm birthday wishes from his brother, Vikas Kohli, and sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, as he celebrated his 37th birthday on Wednesday, November 5.
Both siblings took to Instagram Stories to mark the occasion- Vikas shared a picture of Kohli with his wife, Anushka Sharma, while Bhawna posted a family photo captured after India’s 2024 T20 World Cup victory.

The right-handed batter last featured in the three-match ODI series against Australia, which wrapped up on October 25. Kohli endured a tough beginning, registering back-to-back ducks in the first two games. However, the experienced campaigner redeemed himself in the final ODI at Sydney, producing an unbeaten 74 to steer India to a nine-wicket victory. Despite the strong finish, India ultimately lost the series 2-1.

On Sunday, November 2, the Indian women’s cricket team etched their name in history by claiming their first-ever Women’s World Cup title. Harmanpreet Kaur’s side defeated South Africa by 52 runs in the final at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Following the landmark victory, Virat Kohli expressed his pride and joy through a heartfelt Instagram post, writing:
“The girls have created history and I couldn’t be more proud as an Indian to see the hard work of so many years come to life finally. They deserve all the applause and a big congratulations to Harman and the whole team for achieving this historic feat.”

Meanwhile, the star batter is likely to make his return later this month during the three-match ODI series against South Africa, which kicks off on November 30 in Ranchi.
