Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is currently playing in the Road Safety World Series that has resumed in Raipur. Indian Legends in the first match after the resumption thrashed Bangladesh Legends by 10 wickets with Virender Sehwag scoring an unbeaten 80. They are prepping for their next match against England to be played later today. Meanwhile, in between their preparations, both Sehwag and Yuvraj found time for a little banter with the Little Master.

Known for his explosive batting style throughout his iconic career for the Men In Blue, Virender Sehwag has become one of the most followed cricketers on social media.

“Pratikriya from God ji @sachin_rt,” Sehwag captioned his post on Instagram. Talking about Sehwag’s video, the former Indian opener can be heard quizzing the team physio about Tendulkar’s recovery ahead of the match against England Legends. Sehwag also referred Tendulkar as ‘God ji’ and the video also features Yuvraj sharing a light banter with the former Indian opener.

Talking about the 2021 edition of the Road Safety World Series, Tendulkar-led India Legends will lock horns with England Legends in their next fixture at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium on Tuesday. They won their first match against the West Indies legends in Mumbai before the tournament was postponed. Upon resumption, they started on a winning note by beating Bangladesh.

Virender Sehwag is also leading the run-scoring chart in the series so far. He has scored 157 in three games with the best of an unbeaten 80. Besides the trio of Tendulkar, Sehwag, and Yuvraj, the Indian legends squad also stars the likes of Mohammed Kaif, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan Munaf Patel, and Naman Ojha.

The other respective teams have several former legendary cricketers. Brian Lara, Kevin Pietersen, Jonty Rhodes, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Tillakaratne Dilshan are some of the players participating in the tournament. The final of the tournament will be played on Match 21 in Mumbai.
