In Tamil Nadu’s pre-quarterfinal match against Rajasthan in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 on Thursday, Narayan Jagadeesan produced a spectacular batting performance. He hammered six consecutive boundaries off Rajasthan’s Aman Shekhawat, taking charge of the game right from the start.
The over began with Shekhawat bowling five wides on the first delivery, followed by Jagadeesan opening his account with a thick outside edge that flew over the slip fielders for a boundary. He quickly settled into his groove, driving the ball perfectly to the point for a second consecutive four.
Shekhawat countered by delivering a short-pitched third ball, which Jagadeesan capitalized on, dispatching it to third man for his third consecutive boundary. He kept up the attack, cutting the fourth delivery to deep point for another four, then pulling the fifth ball to deep square leg.
Jagadeesan capped off his incredible performance by hitting a fine leg boundary on the final ball, completing six consecutive fours in the over and accumulating 29 runs from it. You can watch the video here:
