Similar scenes were seen Chennai’s game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Brabourne stadium in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (IPL). The Brabourne stadium was filled with yellow shirts in the crowd. There was a massive support for MS Dhoni.
During the batting innings of Chennai Super Kings, a fan breached the security to enter the field and meet his idol. However, the umpire sent back the fan before he could reach anywhere near the CSK skipper. This shows the craze and love people have for MS Dhoni.

Chennai Super Kings couldn’t end their season with a happy ending. They faced a five-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals in a close encounter. MS Dhoni too failed to create his impact in the match. He played a struggling knock of 26 runs in 28 balls. Dhoni was also not upto the mark with his wicket keeping too.

This was the last game for Chennai Super Kings in this IPL season. It was a season to forget for them. Several cricket fans were concerned if they would get to see MS Dhoni playing the next IPL season or not. CSK skipper answered this question at the toss.
The 41-year-old wicket-keeper batter confirmed that he is going to play the next season of Indian Premier League for CSK as he wants to play his last IPL season in front of the Chepauk crowd. Dhoni said “Definitely, I will play next season. It won’t be nice to CSK fans to not play at Chepauk, I have got a lot of love. It will be like a thank you to all.”
