Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in a must-win game on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium. A win for DC will see Rishabh Pant and Co. through to the playoffs while a MI victory will see Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) make it to the top four.
After an entire season of winning a game and then losing one, DC’s head coach Ricky Ponting believes that his team has finally found the momentum after breaking the trend with a victory in the previous game. The batting and bowling unit performed in tandem to pull off a victory.
Delhi will hope to continue the momentum and beat bottom-placed Mumbai to reach the top four. The five-time IPL champions didn’t had anything go their way this season and found themselves last in the points table.
Rohit Sharma and Co. are expected to make a couple of changes in their playing to try and fix their combinations for the next season. All eyes will be on young all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar if he gets a game in this season.
