SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener Abhishek Sharma got an early reprieve during their IPL 2025 clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, April 17. After SRH were sent in to bat, Will Jacks dropped a tough chance at slip off Deepak Chahar’s bowling, giving Abhishek a crucial early escape.
The aggressive left-hander made MI regret the miss, especially targeting Chahar during the powerplay. He struck four boundaries off the pacer, including a brilliant hat-trick of fours in the fifth over. The short-lived battle between Abhishek and Chahar turned into a thrilling highlight for fans, with both players fiercely competing for dominance.
