[WATCH]- Andre Russell Dances To SRK’s ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ Song With Ananya Panday During KKR’s IPL 2024 Victory Celebrations

All-rounder Andre Russell was spotted dancing to the upbeat ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ song with Bollywood actor Ananya Panday as part of Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) celebrations after their 2024 IPL victory. The song, from the movie ‘Dunki’, features Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the co-owner of the Kolkata franchise.

KKR secured a convincing eight-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, May 26. With this win, Kolkata lifted the IPL trophy for the third time. They had previously clinched the T20 league title in 2012 and 2014, both under the leadership of current mentor Gautam Gambhir.

Following KKR’s triumph in Chennai on Sunday, numerous pictures and videos capturing the players, support staff, and fans celebrating the victory have become viral on social media.

In a particular video, West Indies all-rounder Russell is observed dancing with Ananya to the ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ track. He is also seen miming along to the song. Additionally, KKR coach Chandrakant Pandit is visible in the footage.

Coincidentally, Russell appeared in a Hindi song called ‘Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki’ alongside actor Avika Gor. The song was released earlier this month during the IPL season.

Andre Russell played a crucial part in KKR’s victory in IPL 2024

Russell, a longstanding member of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, played an essential part in their IPL 2024 victory. The 36-year-old secured 19 wickets in 14 matches, averaging 15.53 with an economy rate of 10.06. Additionally, he contributed with the bat, scoring 222 runs at an average of 31.71 with a strike rate of 185.

In total, Russell has participated in 126 matches in the Indian Premier League. As a right-handed batter, he has amassed 2,484 runs at an average of 29.22 and a strike rate of 174.93, including 11 half-centuries.

Additionally, with his medium pace, he has taken 115 wickets at an average of 23.01 and an economy rate of 9.36. Regarding Sunday’s match, Russell claimed 3-19 in 2.3 overs as KKR bowled out SRH for 113 in 18.3 overs during the IPL 2024 final.

Kolkata Knight Riders successfully chased down the target in 10.3 overs, with Venkatesh Iyer smashing an unbeaten 52 off 26 balls.
