England skipper Joe Root once again tried to bail his side out of danger and managed to do so to some extent. But India kept on chipping in wickets from the other end before Root also perished for a well-made 33.
With the tail up, Virat Kohli had a couple of exchanges with Jos Buttler and Ollie Robinson. Incidentally, the English quick had sledged Kohli while batting and it was payback for the Indian cricketer, who likes to keep his emotions up his sleeves.
