Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma was seemingly frustrated after suffering their third defeat in a row in the ongoing IPL 2022. Pat Cummins launched an absolute carnage to thrash the five-time IPL champions with 24 balls to spare.
Defending 162 runs, Rohit Sharma and Co were in control of the scheme of things sending half of KKR batting back in the dressing room. Just when it looked like Mumbai will walk away with the game, Pat Cummins emerged from nowhere to blow the game away.
He smacked 56 off 15 balls to take Kolkata over the line without any difficulties. The blazing knock caught everyone by surprise including Mumbai captain Rohit.
The 34-year-old cricketer understandably looked upset after the defeat. Ahead of the post-match presentation ceremony, the MI skipper also seemed to have lost his cool a bit. A frustrated Rohit Sharma lashed out at the stadium operations people for keeping the sound system’s volume low.
