Sanju Samson snubbed from the team for T20 World Cup 2022

In his whole career, Sanju Samson has been in and out of the team constantly. Eyeing his recent form, fans were expecting him to break into India’s T20 World Cup squad. However, Samson was not picked by the selectors and was not even named in the reserves.

His snub outraged the fans. Reports also came in that his fans were planning to hold a protest in his support. There has been an uproar on social media platforms. Post this, the BCCI selection committee appointed Sanju Samson as the captain of the India A team. Many critics questioned the timing of this and termed it a consolation prize for the wicketkeeper batter.
