Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is back to training in the gym as he recovers from his ankle injury that he suffered during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. He shared a video from his gym session with the fans, training hard to return to the field in the Indian Premier League 2024 season.
Hardik Pandya suffered an ankle injury during his bowling follow-through against Bangladesh in the World Cup match. He has been out of action since then. The all-rounder missed the remained of the World Cup and also the entire tour of South Africa. He is also been excluded from the T20I series against Afghanistan. Hardik is speculated to return during the Indian Premier League 2024 season.
Ahead of his return, the all-rounder is training hard in the gym. Sharing his gym session with the fans, Hardik Pandya wrote, “Only one direction to go, forward ✌️🦾”

Hardik Pandya to lead Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024
Hardik Pandya has returned to his former franchise, Mumbai Indians ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024 season. He led the Gujarat Titans in the last two seasons of the tournament. However, before the 2024 auctions, the Mumbai Indians signed him in an all-cash deal with the Gujarat Titans.
The five-time Indian Premier League winners also announced Hardik Pandya as the captain of the franchise. He will replace Rohit Sharma in the role, who has been one of the most successful captains of the tournament. Hardik Pandya has played 123 Indian Premier League matches, scoring 2309 runs at an average of 30.38. He has also taken 53 wickets in the tournament and has won five IPL trophies. He led the Gujarat Titans to their maiden win in their debut season in the 2022 Indian Premier League.
