Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic got emotional as the debutants won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 championship. They defeated the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Gujarat Titans chased down 131 runs comfortably in just over 18 overs. Skipper Hardik Pandya led his unit from the front in the finals, with his valuable all-around contributions. He broke the back of the Rajasthan Royals’ batting attack in the first innings. Hardik took three wickets conceding just 17 runs in his quota of four overs, at an economy rate of 4.2.

The right-hander also scored a 30-ball 34 in the second innings, when the Gujarat Titans seemed in some trouble. Hardik and Shubman put up a 63-runs partnership for the third wicket to stabilize the innings. The Gujarat Titans went to win the match with seven wickets to spare.

Following Gujarat Titans’ win the players, team management, and the families seemed to be in celebration mode. Skipper Hardik Pandya and his wife Natasa Stankovic were all smiles and hugged each other, as the latter got emotional.
