Imran Tahir direct hit to dismiss Kylie Jamieson capped off a memorable outing for Chennai Super Kings against Royals Challengers Bangalore. In the process, they have also put an end to RCB’s winning streak of four wins back to back. Tahir’s direct hit was the second run-out of the night. This was almost a near-perfect performance from CSK which has taken them to the top of the points table.
The dismissal of Jamieson also brought to an end their quest of chasing the target of 192 down. At the end of the game, RCB finished on 1229 losing the game by 62 runs. Ravindra Jadeja had a game to remember for CSK having scored 62 off 28 balls and picked up 3 for 13 with the ball. He also took 37 runs from the final over from Harshal Patel. He also affected a run-out to cap off a memorable match for Chennai.

Jamieson had scored 16 from 13 balls before Imran Tahir, the most unlikely of fielders pulled out a direct hit to send him back in the RCB dugout. After hitting the ball, Jamieson looks back at Chahal and walks off. He wanted the strike back since it was the last ball of the over, but Chahal knew it was a risky run and played it safe. Tahir… Had one stump to aim at from square leg and he’s fired a flat throw at the base of the sticks.
