Jaydev Unadkat featured in India’s two-match Test series against West Indies in July

After showcasing remarkable performances in the Ranji Trophy and various domestic tournaments in recent years, Jaydev Unadkat earned a call-up to the Indian Test team at the end of the previous year.

He initially made his Test debut in 2010 against South Africa in Centurion. Making a comeback after a 12-year hiatus, he featured in his second Test match against Bangladesh in December 2022, securing three wickets.

During the West Indies tour, Unadkat played both Tests, but on unresponsive pitches, he remained without wickets as spinners dominated the bowling performances for both teams.
