Jemimah Rodrigues was going through a lean phase in her career lately. She was dropped from playing XI in the series against South Africa and in the recently concluded series against England. But she has roared back in form.
Jemimah is representing the Northern Superchargers in the England and Wales Cricket Board’s The Hundred. She played a match-winning 43-ball 92 runs knock against Welsh Fire to chase down 131 and continued with a 41-ball 60 runs inning against the Trent Rockets. The Mumbai batswoman is leading the tops run-scorers chart with 152 runs in two matches at a staggering strike of 180.95.
The Northern Supercharges are at the top in the points table. They have won two of the three matches played so far with a good Net run rate of 1.268.
Their recent match which was on July 28 against the Manchester Originals was abandoned due to rain. They will lock horns against the Oval Incivibles on Saturday, July 31 at Headingley, Leeds.
