[Watch]- Liam Livingstone Gives Cheeky Reply To Kagiso Rabada After Being Asked About The 117m Six

Kagiso Rabada and Liam Livingstone

Liam Livingstone, is clearly becoming the star all-rounder of this IPL and has been proving his worth to his new franchise Punjab Kings time and time again. He is Punjab’s second highest run-scorer and has played a key role in their matches so far in IPL 2022. Yesterday, he smashed the longest six of this IPL against the Gujarat Titans.

Liam Livingstone was then seen trolling his own teammate Kagiso Rabada in the best way possible. Upon being asked by Rabada how he felt when he hit that six, Liam Livingstone gave a cheeky reply. The Englishman reminded the speedster that he had hit him for a similarly huge six in Sharjah during the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup.

Liam said that, “Yeah nice to get one out of the middle of the bat actually. I think that might be as big as the one I hit you in Sharjah! (laughs). It’s been nice, been a while since I got one properly out of the screws. That was really good. I told you this all time along, there is no time for blocks in T20 cricket.”

Rabada then spoke about Liam’s contribution as a bowler as he got the big wicket of David Miller. He said: “It was nice, I spent a lot of time with Davey [David Miller] last year bowling at him in the nets. So it was really handy in getting his wicket. We played really well tonight, nice to get a win.”

Kagiso Rabada stars in eight-wicket win over GT

Kagiso Rabada is a key player in the Punjab Kings line-up and proved it yesterday by taking four key wickets of the opposition to put them on the backfoot. He is their highest wicket-taker this season and is joint second for the purple cap.

He is behind Yuzvendra Chahal for the purple cap by two wickets and can easily make the ground up to become the Purple Cap winner if he continues his current form. Punjab Kings won the match by 8 wickets and four overs to spare. Dhawan played another great knock to take his side home.
