[WATCH] Lord’s Museum Receives Signed Jersey From Indian Star Post Day 3 Of 3rd Test

India opener KL Rahul presented his signed jersey to the Lord’s Museum following the end of Day 3 (Saturday, July 12) of the third Test against England at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The Indian cricket team’s official Instagram account posted a video capturing the moment, showing the Karnataka batter autographing his jersey before handing it over to the museum staff.

Notably, after Day 2 of the same match, pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah had also contributed by donating the shoes he wore during his maiden five-wicket haul at Lord’s.

Rahul produced a remarkable knock for India, registering his 10th Test century and his second at the iconic Lord’s. The 33-year-old crafted a steady innings of 100 runs off 177 deliveries, which included 13 boundaries. Key support came from Rishabh Pant, who scored 74, and Ravindra Jadeja, who added 72, enabling India to reach a total of 387 in their first innings—equaling England’s score.

In response, England ended Day 3 on 2 without loss, with openers Zak Crawley (2) and Ben Duckett (0) safely negotiating the lone over before stumps.

“Batting Perfection” – Ex-India Star on KL Rahul’s Masterclass

Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar showered praise on KL Rahul for his elegant century on Day 3 of the Lord’s Test. Speaking during a segment on ESPNcricinfo, Manjrekar commented:

“Perfection of batting to be very honest. He hasn’t put a foot wrong and even with Jofra Archer coming back into the side and being an opener, facing him with the new ball, it seemed like he had a lot more ability in spare to handle this kind of an attack. He hasn’t put a foot wrong and that’s been the hallmark of his performances this series.”
