Mohammad Amir, the veteran Pakistan pacer is back in the action at T20 Blast, the cricket league in England. Amir has been brought into the Gloucestershire squad as a replacement for his fellow Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah.
Playing his first game in the tournament, Amir instantly caught attention. During the game between Gloucestershire and Somerset, Amir dismissed the Somerset opener, Will Smeed, for a duck and went on to capture another wicket of Ben Green, the all-rounder.
It was the third delivery of the Somerset innings and Amir bowled a full-length delivery to dismiss Smeed. The batter seemed to be taken aback by the delivery and handed a comfortable and straight catch to Ben Howell in the slips.
After grabbing his first wicket for Gloucestershire, Amir rejoiced it in style, as the 30-year-old fetched the famous move from the Indian film ‘Pushpa – The Rise’. The left-arm pacer executed the celebrated dance move by well-known actor Allu Arjun in the film.
The official social media handle of the team Gloucestershire uploaded the video of the incident, which has gone viral now.
