[WATCH]-Mohammed Siraj Dismisses Matt Renshaw For 5 In IND vs PMXI BGT 2024-25 Warm-Up

Mohammed Siraj made an early breakthrough as opener Matt Renshaw fell for just five runs in the 50-over warm-up game between India and Australia PM XI at Manuka Oval, Canberra, on Sunday, December 1. Renshaw was caught by Devdutt Padikkal on the 20th delivery, leaving the hosts at 12/1.

The wicket came in the fifth over when Siraj delivered a back-of-a-length ball that moved away after pitching. Renshaw attempted a shot but edged it to the slips, where Padikkal took a sharp low catch. Star Sports shared the video on X, writing:

Mohammed Siraj gave India an excellent start, but rain interrupted play again after Day 1’s washout in the pink-ball warm-up game, where no toss was conducted. At the time of writing, Australia PM XI were 21/1, with Sam Konstas and Jayden Goodwin at the crease.

India began the five-match Test series with a dominant 295-run win in the opening match. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli scored centuries, while stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah claimed a five-wicket haul.

Skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill missed the first Test due to personal reasons and a thumb injury, respectively. Both will look to get some match time in the warm-up game against Australia PM XI ahead of the Pink-ball Test in Adelaide, starting December 6.
