[Watch] Pacer Umran Malik Rattles Brooke Guest’s Middle Stump During The Tour Match Against Derbyshire

India’s pace bowling sensation Umran Malik had a good outing in the recent tour match against Derbyshire on Friday, July 1 at the County Ground in Derby. He finished the match with the bowling figures of 2/31 in four overs. India eventually won the match by seven wickets, with twenty balls to spare. chasing 151 runs in the match.

Earlier in the match, Indian skipper Dinesh Karthik won the toss and elected to bowl first. They restricted the Derbyshire team to 150 runs in twenty overs, on the back of a brilliant performance by the bowling unit. Umran Malik was one of the key performers in the match. His delivery to dismiss Brooke Guest left everyone awestruck.

On the last delivery of his spell., Umran Malik bowled a speedy length delivery. Brooke went for a big shot, however, couldn’t connect with the ball. It went on to castle his middle stump, to send him back to the hut. Brooke Guest managed 23 runs during his 25 deliveries stat at the crease.

Brooke Guest was Umran Malik’s second victim in the match. Earlier, he dismissed, Leus Du Plooy for just nine runs. The youngster was brought in by skipper Dinesh Karthik to bowl the last over of the powerplay. He was hit for a couple of boundaries, however, made a brilliant comeback to dismiss Du Plooy.

Along with Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh too shined with the ball. He took two wickets in his four overs, conceding twenty-nine runs. Arshdeep dismissed the Derbyshire skipper Shan Masood and Alex Hughes. He was also involved in Mark Watt’s run-out in the match.

Deepak Hooda’s slams fifty, takes India to victory in the tour match against Derbyshire

Indian cricketer Deepak Hooda continued his dream run by slamming a fifty in the tour match against Derbyshire on Friday, July 1. He came in to bat in the second over, at number three for India. Deepak took on the charge, smashing the opposition bowlers for boundaries. He got together with Suryakumar Yadav to put on a 78-run stand for the third wicket.

Deepak Hooda managed 59 runs off 37 deliveries, including five boundaries and a couple of sixes. On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten on 36 runs off 22 balls, with four boundaries and a six to his name. India won the match comfortably by seven wickets.
