Indian batting all-rounder Deepak Hooda continued his brilliant run in the T20I series against Ireland at The Village in Dublin. He slammed his maiden T20I century for India on Tuesday, June 28 in the second and final T20I match of the series. Hooda’s fantastic innings helped India to set a huge target batting first. They put on 227 runs in their twenty overs, losing seven wickets.

Deepak Hooda came out to bat early in the innings when India lost opening batter Ishan Kishan. He partnered with Sanju Samson at the crease, to take the innings head. The duo took on the Ireland bowlers, smashing them all around the park. They put on a 176-run stand for the second wicket.

In the eighteenth over, Joshua Little bowled a length outside off delivery. Hooda dabbed it just wide of the point fielder to take a single. He completed his maiden century for the Indian team in the T20I format. The 27-year-old managed 104 runs off 57 deliveries, including nine boundaries and six sixes.
