Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had an eventful first day of the third Test against Australia on Wednesday, March 1 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore in the 2023 Border Gavaskar Trophy. He took all four wickets in the Australian innings so far in the test, including a ripper to dismiss Marnus Labuschagne.
Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne got lucky twice in the innings. First, he survived an lbw scare, as India decided against taking a review. Later, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed the right-hander, but off a no-ball. However, the Indian spinner kept on troubling Marnus Labuschagne. He finally dismissed the Aussie cricketer with a brilliant delivery.
The incident took place during the thirty-fifth over. Ravindra Jadeja bowled a slider, which sneaked past the inside edge of Marnus Labuschagne’s bat. The batter stayed on the back foot and blocked the delivery, and the ball went on to rattle the wickets. Marnus scored 31 runs off 91 deliveries, with a boundary during his stay at the crease.
