T20 World Cup 2022 is going to be played in the months of October and November this year. It’s going to be an exciting event. The last year’s T20 World Cup which was played in UAE was won by Australia. This year’s marquee event will be hosted by Australia who are the current champions.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has started its preparation for the T20 World Cup in Australia. They have started posting several videos for promotion of the T20 World Cup. These promotions include various cricket superstars across the globe.

Recently, the T20 World Cup social media handle posted a promotion video of  Rishabh Pant featuring in it. Pant can be seen emerging from the Sydney Harbour in the video. Pant is dressed up in the blue Indian jersey.

The video was captioned, “Welcome to The Big Time, Rishabh Pant.”

Rishabh Pant has become a global superstar at such a young age. He has a good fan following in overseas countries like Australia, and England. Pant will be an exciting player to watch out for in the T20 World Cup. The southpaw plays an aggressive brand of cricket.

“Pant is important part of our plans for T20 WC” – Rahul Dravid backs Rishabh Pant in T20I

Rishabh Pant so far has failed to perform in the International T20I as per the standards he has set in the Indian Premier League. Pant has scored almost 750 runs in his T20I career at an average of 23 and strike rate of 124. Several fans also questioned the place of Rishabh Pant in the Indian T20I team.

However, coach Rahul Dravid backed Rishabh Pant after a poor T20I series against South Africa. Dravid said, “Personally, he would have liked to score a few more runs but it is not concerning him. Certainly, he is a very big part of our plans going ahead in the next few months. I just don’t want to be critical.”
